🚀 CrossMix-OS: the definitive guide to getting the most out of your Trimui Smart Pro The Trimui Smart Pro is an incredible machine, but the system it comes with from the factory falls short. At Bytechip we are clear that if you want the best experience, you have to install CrossMix-OS. This system does not replace the internal firmware, but "boosts" it from the SD card, adding tools, better emulators and an impeccable look. 🛠️ Prerequisites For the installation to be a success and to avoid loading failures: MicroSD card of 64GB or more: CrossMix comes loaded with features and applications; with 32GB you will run short very quickly. Use brands such as SanDisk or Samsung. A fast SD card reader for the PC. Charged battery: Make sure your Trimui has at least 50% battery before starting. Updated console: It is recommended to have the official Trimui firmware at version 1.0.4 or higher. 📥 Step 1: Download and SD card preparation Download CrossMix-OS: Go to the official GitHub repository (search for "CrossMix-OS Trimui"). Download the .zip file of the latest version. Format your SD: The card must be in FAT32 format. If your SD is larger than 32GB, Windows will not let you do it natively; use tools such as GUIFormat. Unzipping: Open the downloaded .zip file and copy all its contents directly to the root of your MicroSD. Do not put in the main folder, only what is inside it. ⚙️ Step 2: Installation and first boot Unlike other consoles, here you do not need to "burn" the image with BalenaEtcher. It is much simpler: Insert the MicroSD into your Trimui Smart Pro while switched off. Switch on the console. You will see the start logo change and the CrossMix logo appear. Be patient: On the first boot, the system will set up the scripts and emulator paths. Once in the menu, go to the Apps section and run "Refresh ROMs" so the system recognises all the content. 🕹️ Step 3: Why is CrossMix-OS better? If you are still wondering why bother changing it, here are the key advantages: Ports support: Includes games such as Stardew Valley, Celeste or TMNT through PortMaster. Better emulation: Optimises performance on PSP, Dreamcast and Nintendo 64. Customisable interface: Includes beautiful themes and the ability to easily change the colours of the joysticks' LED rings. Extra tools: File manager, image viewer and improved media players. 💡 The Bytechip expert touch Want to take your Trimui to the next level?
